I can tell you the exact moment the looming UK vacation got REALLY exciting for the boys - Christmas morning, 2010. Aunty Kel and Uncle Nick sent the boys vouchers to spend at Hamleys Toy Store, London and Hamleys is no ordinary toy store. With 5 floors of sheer toy heaven, a decor that you only see in Home Alone movies and the knowledge that they had 20 quid each plus their money box savings to blow, Tyler and Charlie were ready to leave Melbourne. What did they buy? After scouring through all the floors, Tyler bought a cool remote control helicopter with inbuilt giro and a remote control car. The helicopter really is 'class'. Charlie honed in on a lolly claw that is way more rewarding than the ones at bowling alleys and arcade parlours because the claw actually works! Topper.
(Pete would just like to add that Charlie also got his eyes on a Darth Vader outfit and light sabre. It didn't matter that he has a half dozen of the damn things back in Melbourne - he saw a light sabre and he simply had to get one. End of story.)
